Trailer Mechanic

DESCRIPTION:

Established in 2012, we are a transportation company comprised of talented and driven individuals that have worked tirelessly to provide a quality experience for our drivers and customers. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Trailer Mechanic to join our team servicing 53’ Dry Van and Temperature Controlled trailers. This position is on-site in Tinley Park, IL.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

·        Perform preventative maintenance on all trailer components including brakes, lights, wheel seals and suspension

·        Perform DOT trailer inspections

·        Perform minor electrical repairs

·        Perform minor bodywork

·        Inspect and replace tires

·        Maintain a clean work area

·        Additional duties/work as needed

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·        Valid state driver’s license

·        Willingness to learn Reefer maintenance and repairs

·        Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs.

·        Must have iPhone or Android mobile device

·        Welding experience preferred
