Job Description

As the Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in enhancing the strategic capabilities of the Marketing organizations. Your key responsibilities will include developing strategic financial plans, managing the annual planning and budgeting process, providing visibility and decision support for demand generation functions, and delivering insightful analytical support to key stakeholders. Reporting directly to the VP of GTM FP&A, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Budgeting: Manage the annual financial planning process for Marketing, collaborating with department heads and business unit leaders to create and operationalize business and financial plans.
  • Analytical Support: Provide transparency and data-driven decision support by driving visibility across various demand generation channels and operationalizing metrics and measurement tools in order to optimize the marketing funnel.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and other cross-functional leaders to gather assumptions, identify key metrics, assess impacts, and conduct sensitivity/scenario analyses to support decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Develop scalable processes and systems to enhance transparency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Project Leadership: Lead internal projects and evaluate new business opportunities through modeling and net present value assessments of alternative scenarios.
  • Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Team Development: Offer leadership and mentoring to the finance team, including those based in India.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics; Master’s degree in Finance or Economics preferred.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, with leadership experience in FP&A.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts.
  • Experience in Technology (SaaS) industries, particularly a high velocity preferred.
  • Excellent business communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Comfortable managing multifaceted projects alongside day-to-day responsibilities.

Additional Information

The annual base salary range for this position is $213,600 — $307,050 USD.

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
