CTO/ Co-Founder

An early-stage robotics and AI startup is seeking an entrepreneurial Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder to lead the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for robotic systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the technical vision and execution of robotic centric solutions. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, hands-on leader with experience in software engineering, AI infrastructure, and team management, ready to grow with the company through early challenges and rapid scaling.

Role is hybrid onsite in Boston or San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership Design and oversee the development of scalable AI infrastructure for robotics applications.

  • Drive innovation by applying generative AI technologies to robotics and automation.

  • Lead and manage a team of contractors, growing the technical team as the company scales.

  • Foster a collaborative, startup-oriented culture to achieve technical milestones.

  • Investor & Stakeholder Engagement Represent the company in meetings with venture capitalists and other stakeholders.

  • Provide technical insights and demonstrate a clear vision for the product roadmap and market applications.

  • Fine-tune existing products for immediate revenue opportunities through pilot programs and partnerships.

  • Collaborate with co-founder to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in software engineering, AI development, and infrastructure design.

  • Experience in robotics is preferred.

  • Proficiency with synthetic data generation and generative AI tools is desirable.
