Materials Manager – Automotive IndustryOverview: Are you a results-driven Materials Manager with a passion for optimizing operations? We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our production, inventory, shipping, warehousing, and purchasing functions. In this role, you’ll play a key part in enhancing customer service, improving efficiency, and managing costs.Responsibilities• Production Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demands to ensure timely product delivery.• Delivery Timeliness: Guarantee on-time deliveries of products while maintaining high standards.• Safety and Compliance: Uphold a safe and compliant work environment across all operations.• Capacity Analysis: Evaluate plant capacity and address potential shortfalls to prevent disruptions.• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, maintain accurate tracking reports, and ensure optimal stock levels.• Performance Metrics: Drive performance through data analysis and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement, including BIC (Best in Class) and lean manufacturing principles.• Communication: Facilitate effective communication across shifts and departments to ensure smooth operations.• Problem-Solving: Actively engage in problem-solving and participate in project teams to address and resolve issues.• Standardized Procedures: Implement, audit, and maintain standardized work procedures.• Team Development: Train, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and growth.Qualifications• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.• Experience: 2-5 years in materials management, inventory control, or production planning.• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.• Communication: Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.• Safety: A strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.• Improvement: Enthusiastic about continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.Preferred Qualifications• Industry Experience: Experience in the automotive industry.• Principles Knowledge: Familiarity with BIC (Best in Class) and TQM (Total Quality Management) principles.• Coaching: Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members.Join Us: If you’re ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear fro
