Your Impact


As a Senior Finance Planning Analyst at GALE, you will play a pivotal role in the FP&A function ensuring the financial health and success of our client engagements. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including account management, finance, and clients, to provide accurate financial planning (budgeting and forecasting), insights and analysis. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


What you’ll be doing
  • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
  • Provide insightful commentary and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients based on financial performance
  • Monitor revenues and expenses and assess client profitability
  • Monitor salary and corporate overhead expenses
  • Analyze contracts, budgets, forecasts and financial models to support decision-making and resources allocation
  • Reporting 
  • Perform month end revenue recognition procedures in view of parent company accounting policies, applying ASC606 and SOX principles.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports 
  • Review and evaluate client contracts and ensure appropriate revenue recognition
  • Support, coordinate and prioritize timely and effective responses to auditors (external and internal)
  •  Process Improvement
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial management
  • Actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives


Who you are
  • You have CPA certification or enrollment (strong preference)
  • You have working knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS/SOX
  • You have strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask and prioritize workload in a deadline-driven environment.
  • A collaborative team player with a customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis
  • You have excellent working proficiency with Excel
  • Able to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) for problem solving and process improvement
  • You have practical experience with the application of Revenue Recognition Accounting principles


Nice to Have
  • Experience working in an advertising or professional services firm is preferred
  • Experience in accounting/reporting tools such as Maconomy, Mediaocean, Onestream, and Blackline
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting techniques
