DevOps Engineer/SRE

As a DevOps Engineer/SRE at Gcore, you will be responsible for deploying new servers, implementing infrastructure changes, planning maintenance, and diagnosing issues related to software and hardware. Your role is essential in ensuring that our systems remain efficient and resilient, contributing to the quick loading times of apps and games that users worldwide rely on.

At Gcore, candidates need a minimum of 2 years' experience as a DevOps/SRE Engineer, strong proficiency in Linux systems, and experience with configuration management systems like Puppet or Ansible. You must possess a solid understanding of networking principles and be able to write Bash and Python scripts. Familiarity with virtualization systems such as KVM is also preferred.

Gcore's technology stack for the DevOps Engineer/SRE role includes Linux operating systems, configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform, along with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash and Python, and virtualization systems like OpenStack and Ceph, is highly valued.

While having experience with OpenStack and Ceph is preferred for the DevOps Engineer/SRE role at Gcore, it is not strictly necessary. We do seek candidates who are enthusiastic about technology and are eager to learn. A strong foundation in similar technologies can allow you to adapt quickly.
