We are seeking a Jr. Work Control Planner to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory! This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
Support the Maintenance & Site Services – Work Control (MSS-WC) division at LANL.
Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates.
Develops, edits, and/or reviews written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area.
Perform planning duties related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures.
Resolve work restraints.
Bring work packages to final closure
Requirements
Education & Years of Experience – Associate's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work
Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed

The NNSA's Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, is a design laboratory responsible for the safety and reliability of the nuclear explosives package in nuclear weapons.
