Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a highly motivated IT Quality Analyst Senior to join our growing team to develop, support, and modernize mission-critical applications for our DHS customer. Our work depends on IT Quality Analyst Senior joining our team to provide support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases to transform requirements into working solutions; and will work proactively, collaboratively, and with an entrepreneurial spirit in providing O&M support (in the form of developmental engineering) to the customer and their Stakeholder communities in achieving their critical missions.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Reviews and evaluates software products and/or systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards
  • Develops software/systems testing procedures and conduct tests
  • Writes and executes test cases using JIRA application
  • Engages with clients/users to define system scope and objectives
  • Provides support and technical advice throughout Agile sprint cycles
  • Validates enhancements to existing system in addition to coordinating with other QA/testing personnel

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
  • Required Technical Skills: ability to automate test cases; and experience with scrum/agile project lifecycle approach to software development
  • Security Clearance Level: Public Trust (DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability)
  • Required Skills and Abilities: adept at problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, time management, multi-tasking, and task-ownership; excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Preferred Skills: technical training, certification(s), or degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline; experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies; experience implementing and configuring DevOps solutions; experience with XRay; experience with querying databases using SQL; experience in SQL and SQL*Plus; experience with Web services; experience with MQ; proven track record as a self-learner keeping current with the latest techniques including automated testing and continuous integration; experience in Jira to support configuration management in an Agile environment; Certifications - SAFe, SCRUM, or Kanban

The likely salary range for this position is $83,429 - $95,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
