What We Are Looking For


The VP Product Marketing will play a central role in both the Marketing, Product and broader Commercial Teams.


You will be responsible for helping to define what to build, who to build for and how to package, price and sell our product range, in close collaboration with colleagues across Marketing, Product, Sales and Engineering.


This involves deeply understanding our buyers and our users, understanding our competition, clearly defining and articulating our value proposition for internal & external audiences, refining and optimising our product messaging and positioning and working closely with the Product team to evolve our offering.


We have huge ambitions next year on our way to reinvent software delivery in the financial markets. Product marketing, and marketing at large, are integral to our continued success.


How You'll Play Your Part
  • Research our buyers and users to drive creation of personas and Ideal Customer Profiles; who they are, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
  • Understand the competitive landscape to become an expert on our competition, how they are positioned and our differentiation.
  • Collaborate with product management and communications to develop effective product positioning and messaging.
  • Drive product strategy and roadmap evolution, in concert with product management, through evolving product feedback loops and facilitating feedback sessions & Customer Advisory Boards.
  • Track and assess the effectiveness of product marketing programs on key company objectives such as close rate, and report on / enact required changes in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales and product management on value proposition articulation, use case and solution definition and product packaging and pricing strategy.
  • Understand and support our sales channels: train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
  • Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including engagement with industry analysts, speaking engagements and laying the foundations of our content strategy.
  • Develop a marketing plan for the products you support in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.


The Experience You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of product marketing or product management experience with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research)
  • Experience working in B2B tech or SaaS environment, ideally with early stage products or companies / startups
  • Strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer.
  • Technical background, ideally having been a software developer, along with a demonstrable passion in technology.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
  • Data-driven with exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working
  • Comfortable using a range of tools across the modern marketing stack (collaboration, CRM, automation and analytics).


$150,000 - $180,000 a year
This role also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including stock options via our Employee Equity Plan.
