What You Need And The Hats You Will Wear


We are looking for a BDR /Junior Account Executive to join our team who will be responsible for dramatically accelerating our pipeline generation engine, focused at the top of our Sales and Marketing funnel.


In many cases, you’ll be shaping Clients’ first impression of Genesis after they’ve expressed interest in how we can solve their most pressing challenges. You’ll work across Marketing, Partnerships and Sales to profile and qualify new prospects; you’ll work directly with Account Executives to plan outreach and drive initial meetings & demos; you’ll work with Revenue Operations to derive insights and distill learnings to drive continuous improvement in how we go to market.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Act as the central point of contact for inbound, “warm” leads to ensure strong research, profiling is complete – all in preparation for high quality, value oriented first meetings & demos
  • Thoughtfully support first call preparation and craft follow-up, ongoing engagement proposals as part of hand-off to Account Executives
  • With certain personas, independently conduct qualification and discovery calls to learn more about Client needs and/or opportunities
  • Support value oriented, engaging outreach before and after all events (i.e., Genesis hosted events, industry events, Partner events) to identify high propensity prospects who can benefit from Genesis’ Platform
  • Ensure detailed documentation of outreach and Client engagement in Salesforce to enable reporting and insights on the results for programs and events.
  • Organize and prepare relevant sales and marketing material as part of engaging and qualifying leads at the top of the funnel Stay up to date on market trends and industry developments, especially around the use cases Genesis seeks to address and industry competitors

$80,000 - $110,000 a year
