Genesis10 is currently seeking a Infrastructure Program Manager with our client in their New York, NY location. This is a 6 month + contract and hybrid remote position. This position requires 3 days per week in the office ... Summary: • The Program Manager will play a key role in leading the data center exit/migration program. • They will need to be adept at working on enterprise programs, leading efforts across multiple lines of business with multiple project managers. • Strong skills in creating project/program plans, program level tracking/reporting and coordination across business and technology teams. The Program Manager will identify and address operational, financial, and technical risks and escalate when required. • The candidate must be exceptionally well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of working on multiple tasks across a variety of Infrastructure technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Provide and support the Data Center roadmap by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress, reporting results; creating senior management presentations; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities. • Create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time and resource requirements, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions and resolving conflicts. • Develop and establish relationships across the global team and with key business partners in Financial Advisory, Asset Management, Corporate Finance, Technology, Legal & Compliance, Operations, Human Resources, and other groups Requirements: • A Bachelor's and /or Masters' degree in business or related field of an MBA. • 5+ years in the IT organization of a financial services firm with an Infrastructure background. • 5+ years as a Project Manager, 2+ years in manager IT programs or a project portfolio. • Prior experience leading a Data Center Exit or Data Center Migration program. • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. • Motivated team player and flexible in approach with ability to work independently. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; presents ideas in a clear, concise, and constructive manner. • Ability to prioritize, working to tight deadlines and flexible to meet workload requirements. • Advanced ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. • Strong strategic thinker who poises the confidence and composure required to effectively communicate recommendations and findings to various stakeholders. • High level of attention to detail and understanding the importance of accuracy in quality of work. • Advanced MS Excel skills. • Excellent communication skills, articulate, personable, good listener, and excellent writing skills. • The ability to manage multiple, initiatives at the same time and be highly detail-oriented. • The ability to work in a demanding environment with limited direction i.e., must be a self-starter. • The ability to collaborate as part of a team and take on additional responsibilities as required. • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
