With you as part of the design team, interiors have never been so engaging.What You Will DoLead interior design teams on projects, working with Design Director(s) and project team(s) for all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and productionCollaborate on workplace interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and management of budgets and schedulesParticipate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, lighting, and furniture specificationsProvide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for constructionProvide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design conceptsWork with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, consultants, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives.Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs.Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships.Your QualificationsBachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field from an accredited school8 - 15 years of experience as an interior designer, with a focus on corporate/workplace interiorsProficient in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3D and other modeling software programsStrong knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specificationsStrong abilities in managing fees, schedules and staffing.Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF+E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materialsOutstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideasComputer skills to include Revit and AutoCADKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, SPEXX a plusFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentAbility to communicate design ideas and direction quicklyA quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentStrong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skillsRegistered Architect or Interior Designer preferredAll Applicants must upload portfolio for consideration.Life at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
