Business Development Representative (AMER)

GitLab is looking for a Business Development Representative to join the Revenue Marketing team. The role involves leading outreach to targeted Enterprise accounts and generating qualified meetings and pipeline for the Sales organization.

Skills

Positive and energetic phone skills
Strong writing skills
Knowledge of business process and organizational structure
Proficient in Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Tech industry experience or sales development background is a plus

Responsibilities

Execute outbound prospecting initiatives
Conduct high-level discovery conversations in target accounts
Meet or exceed BDR sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets
Collaborate with teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging
Utilize industry knowledge to research accounts and generate interest
Manage, track, and report activities and results
Participate in documenting processes in the GitLab handbook
Collaborate with Marketing to drive attendance at events and identify opportunities
Act as a mentor for new hires
Develop targeted marketing tactics against assigned target accounts
Strategically prospect with the Sales Team
