Enterprise Strategic Account Executive (Michigan)

GitLab is seeking an Enterprise Strategic Account Executive to support large prospects and customers in the Michigan region, providing leadership in the pre- and post-sales process.

Skills

  • Ability to provide high degree of account management and control
  • Experience selling into large organizations
  • Proven sales techniques for success
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
  • Knowledge of Git and Software Development Tools
  • Ability to share and work in accordance with company values

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic large prospects and customers in the Michigan region
  • Provide account leadership in pre- and post-sales process
  • Conduct sales activities and develop opportunities in large/strategic accounts
  • Ensure successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products
  • Generate qualified leads and develop new customers
  • Expand knowledge of industry and competitive posture
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports
  • Contribute to root cause analysis on wins/losses
  • Communicate lessons learned to the team
  • Assist in conveying customer needs to product managers and technical support staff
  • Utilize a consultative approach to discuss business issues with prospects
  • Develop an account plan based on customer's business needs
  • Collaborate with Marketing on strategies
