Associate, Statutory Investment Accounting

Global Atlantic Financial Group is seeking an Associate for their Investment Accounting Team to ensure accuracy in statutory investment accounting and reporting.

Accounting and finance expertise
Strong communication skills
Technical proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities

Complete stat assignments for seven insurance company entities.
Train newer team members on investment accounting tasks.
Perform control functions in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
Conduct frequent ad hoc analysis and support new business initiatives.
Review journal entries and Annual Statement reporting schedules.
Assist in planning and executing improvements to the quarterly reporting process.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
