We recently became an official partner with Major League Baseball - exciting - we know! In this role, you’ll join a brand-new team and put yourself on the map as the innovative and creative pioneer for bringing our brand, Sage, to life. Don’t worry, you won’t be going it alone; alongside the Director of Sports Sponsorship, Events team, and agency support - you'll be part of the creative linchpin who will support our brand growth in the US market.

Hybrid: 2 days per week from our Atlanta or Lawrenceville, GA office and 25% US travel (occasional global travel)

Role Purpose:
We’re widely known in the UK (the birthplace of Sage) and working towards growing our brand recognition in the US. Your role will be critical for bringing Sage to the forefront of people’s minds in the US market. You’ll do this by supporting the Director of Sports Sponsorship to maximize our MLB long-term contract and collaborate with the events team to create innovative and memorable brand experiences. You’ll also manage agencies and internal brand education. We estimate this role to be 25% strategy and 75% tactical. Initially, the priority will be our sports sponsorship and eventually driving brand activation of other channels in the US.

Team Purpose:
We are contributing to Sage's transformation from a B2B (business-to-business) to an H2H (human-to-human) brand by creating real & human brand experiences for our customers and colleagues. We are the creative foundation for delivering unique experiences that drive brand awareness and fame. Our Brand Experience team has a global scope and our brand ambition and values are central to our work. Everything we do incorporates our values - Human, Trust, Bold, and Simplicity. We use our innovative and creative expertise and knowledge of our customers to drive brand and revenue growth. Sage is highly invested in this new team, focused on annual delivery and long-term innovation with support from our CMO.

First 90 days:
With personalized support from your leader, you'll learn all things Sage brand, our key objectives, and our MLB sponsorship. By 60 days, you’ll dive into how you can contribute to a 12-month brand experience strategy with the MLB and begin presenting, aspirational and creative ideas for how we can maximize resources. To thrive, you should be comfortable working with a new team who is just starting to define the foundation of our brand experience and processes.

Our momentum for creating brand awareness in the US is just getting started! As you make waves, you'll be on the roadmap to develop into a people leader and eventually build out a US team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Sponsorship/Partnership - Collaboration and alignment on (MLB) sponsorship strategy and execution.

  • Signature Events - Deliver innovative, creative briefs to the events team defining the creative positioning of events and supporting the execution.

  • Creative Delivery - Understand the customer segments and deliver creative positioning against the business units' ambitions and objectives.

  • Experiential Agency - Lead, manage, and guide the agency to understand the Sage brand and ensure creative output has a clear narrative and storytelling that will bring our brand to life at every touchpoint.

  • Operational Delivery - Ensure creative strategy and positioning are operationally viable.

  • Brand Education - Collaborate with internal teams to educate on brand experience by driving clear communication through the briefing process and ensuring the best experience delivery.

  • Budget Control - Manage stakeholder budgets and re-use and re-purpose Sage-produced collateral where possible to drive cost efficiencies and consistency.


  • Key Performance Metris:
  • Consistent brand experience execution globally

  • Increase brand awareness metrics in the US

  • Increase channel uplifts during post-event analysis

  • Increase eNPS score - customer surveys/satisfaction


  • Minimum Qualifications:
    5 years of strategic and tactical experience in a brand experiential role where you can provide successful examples of:
  • Managing a brand sponsorship partnership - ideally a sports sponsorship

  • Delivering innovative, creative briefs that resulted in executing unforgettable brand experiences with high-end taste and style.

  • How you measured success (channel uplifts, eNPS, customer satisfaction, etc.)

  • Putting an unknown brand on the map

  • Working in a global, brand-led environment

  • Managing agencies (or working in one) from briefs to execution

  • Managing budgets with a focus on driving cost efficiencies and consistency
