About the Role
The Director of Drug Information is a key member of the Go-To-Market team in Elsevier Clinical Solutions. The role brings to the healthcare market a portfolio of solutions that help pharmacists and patients make informed decisions about prescribing and taking medications. The role reports directly to the Vice President for Physician & Pharmacist in North America. It sets and implements the strategy for Elsevier’s pharmacy-related solutions that serve retail pharmacies, technology partners, and other customers. This is a high visibility position with revenue and growth responsibility.
The Director will work closely with the Global Commercial Strategy, Product, Content, Informatics, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams. You will set and drive Go-To-Market strategies for solutions used by pharmacists and patients in the US and Canada.
Responsibilities

Having a passion for helping patients to feel confident in the medication regimen, respected, and empowered to advocate for themselves; having a passion for helping pharmacists to do the important work of ensuring patients have safe and effective medication experiences

Providing Go-To- Market leadership for the person-first solutions in our Drug Information portfolio

Establishing an effective infrastructure for long-term commercial success by developing collaborative working relationships with other Elsevier teams. In addition, you will develop external relationships with key customers and partners in pursuit of the overall business goals for Elsevier Clinical Solutions.

Translating business strategy into measurable goals and deliver consistent, accurate, and clear tracking of key performance indicators.

Supporting the North America Sales and Marketing teams in developing and implementing the Drug Information portfolio’s strategy across key market segments. Heling to acquire new customers, increase customer usage, and increase renewal rates

Collaborating with Global Commercial Strategy, Content, Informatics, and Solution Delivery teams to lead execution of market launches for Drug Information solutions and features. Identifying and partnering with pilot customers to drive user validated product launches.

Leveraging customer and market insights to provide input and influence on market strategies and product roadmaps, and identify acquisition targets.
Requirements

Be an accomplished leader who can significantly accelerate our success and help motivate the team.

Have a track record of success in achieving revenue and growth targets for a product or portfolio of products.

Have experience in setting a near- and long-term vision for a product or portfolio of products, and how they will be brought to market and monetized

Be experience in presenting a vision to leadership and building buy-in for that vision

Have demonstrated ability to work successfully in a matrixed environment. This can be both as a results-driven self-starter and as a team member who can both lead and follow.

Bachelors degree, extensive relevant work experience, and healthcare market experience

Have Clinical experience would be a plus
