At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely...
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is looking for an experienced UX leader to help build, shape, and push our design teams to the next level.
As a Senior UX Manager for the connected commerce ux team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and strategy for delivering a seamless connected commerce experience across platforms for our customers. Your responsibilities will extend beyond leading the design team; you will also influence roadmaps, coordinate results across cross-functional teams, collaborate company-wide to drive success, and serve as the ultimate arbiter of our experiences. This includes elevating design, driving NPS, and ensuring every customer experience is unparalleled. You will have the autonomy to make impactful decisions and the support to implement them effectively.
As the leader of the design team, you will collaborate with other leaders to establish strategic plans, goals, and tactics. You will also address issues where analysis of situations or data requires a deep understanding of business objectives.

• Work with our design teams to mentor and coach standard methodologies, provide feedback and collaborate to ensure design standards are being met
• Coach your team on job-specific skills and career development
• Mentor team members to develop professionally and improve their impact within GoDaddy through direct and timely actionable feedback
• Be responsible for all people processes – recruiting talent, retaining talent, and ensuring the team has access to information and tools needed to perform their jobs effectively
• Implement best processes and practices for accelerating teams work aligned to company objectives
• Be a strategic creative problem solver and improver of visual design for GoDaddy
• Collaborate effectively with other leaders, senior designers, content strategists, Product managers, researchers, and technologists
• Be an active contributor and participator in group critique and constant iterative improvement, guiding sessions in a team environment and fostering design thinking into the common vernacular
• Advocate for design excellence, craftsmanship, usability, and experience
Your experience should include...
• 7+ years of experience in delivering software products to market - demonstrable industry experience in a well-established, leadership role with a clear record of success
• 3+ years of experience managing a UX design team
• Experience building software for user experience design on web and mobile platforms
• Clear track record of problem resolution, team leadership, and time in a role with at least 6 direct reports
• Outstanding conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Strong creative skills and a strong sense of the visual aesthetic and a consistent track record in the craft of design
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, possessing the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical collaborators
You might also have...
• Experience designing for Point of Sale (POS) systems or commerce-related domains is a plus.
• Bachelor of Arts degree or Master of Arts degree in interaction design, communication design, industrial design, HCI, or related field.
