Our team is composed of passionate women who thrive in a collaborative and creative environment, and we are now expanding our Influencer Relations + Social Media team to enhance our client partner offerings.KLPR INFLUENCER RELATIONS + SOCIAL MEDIA CANDIDATE CHEAT SHEETThis is a full-time position located in our Chicago hybrid office. This team member will spend time in internal and external meetings and briefings while seamlessly transitioning between strategic influencer programming, social media planning, and the orchestration of imaginative events/activations. Part of the week is carved out for client visits for content shoots and planning. Although a team member's commitment will tend to be standard office hours, deadlines or a client's demands may see the manager working nights or weekends to ensure continued success. Must be authorized to work in the US.SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS: KLPR QUALIFICATIONS• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience• 3-5 years of relevant experience in influencer marketing and social media management preferably with agency vs. in-house• Experience with launching influencer and social campaigns for hotels, restaurants, food personalities, and/or CPG food and beverage brands is required• Smitten with culture, restaurants, wine, food products, destinations, and hotels with a genuine interest in the hospitality industry (with knowledge of Chicago and corresponding markets)• Religiously following THE top foodie influencers, keeping up with the latest digital trends, or trying the latest TikTok trend; an expert in personalities, products, and processes with a pop culture obsession• Extensive knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant social media networks• A passion for building and cultivating relationships with influencers in the digital space, ranging from Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube and blog content creators• Ability to thrive collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, prioritizing and handling multiple projects - obsessive about deadlines, deadlines, deadlines and adherence to timelines• Appreciates the art of telling the client story through influencer partnerships, and social media key messaging• Background in creative development, social media analytics tools, and campaign analysis• Ability to exercise sound judgment, responding to consumers and guests within a brand’s voice during daily community management practices• Thoughtful, creative, a strong writer, possesses an almost obsessive attention to detail• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills• Strong organizational and project management abilities• Ability to peer and self-edit writing quickly, turning around social media posts in real-time• Always the first to get in the mix when helping means the chance to learn more• Promote personal and professional growth opportunities, new ideas, new ways of doing thingsROLE IN A NUTSHELL• Responsible for managing the digital/online platforms of clients and influencer programming daily and serving as a representative of the company and working collaboratively with the media relations team• Manage 6-8 accounts• Manage a team of 1-2• Be the first point of contact for clients, leading all client management with enthusiasm and professionalism• Develop and strategize creative influencer partnerships, activations, and alliances that keep clients ahead of the curve• Craft a social media voice and channel brand pillars to build authentic, relevant, interactive conversations and relationships• Maintain an understanding of the partner’s brand voice and be able to create authentic stories that drive engagement and ultimately revenue for our partners• Schedule routine influencer appointments/activations/content shoots at client establishments• Achieve goals and KPIs associated with job responsibilities• Maintain a nuanced understanding of social media networking and content-sharing platforms as well as the latest tools and applications• Keep up to date on current trends within the represented industries of KLPR• Find opportunities to help evolve and share own story in our practices, communications vehicles, relationships, marketing materials, reports and plans as well as live and online presences.• Work with colleagues to ensure resonant consistent integrated storytelling across integrated practices• Engage with partners’ social media communities, helping to increase our partners’ online engagement and digital presence• Create strategies for proactive outreach and engagement• Maintain lists of audiences, including relevant businesses, events, etc• Brainstorm and develop a monthly strategy for social media tags and inclusions• Develop a deep understanding of measurement and reporting tools• Support/monitor, as well as evaluate and recommend, social media software and partner platforms• Pay close attention to audience growth and engagement, social influencer and blogger relations opportunities, ad spend, analytics, and optimization• Report overview of influencer/social media results to partners• Brainstorm and innovate to improve company, job, and partnersWHY JOIN KLPR?• A supportive and inclusive work culture that highly values collaboration, creativity and innovation• Opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of hospitality industry client partners• Competitive compensation and benefits package (BCBS PPO Health Insurance, 401K Match, Monthly Hospitality Stipend)• Open PTO policy• Professional development opportunities and room for career growth alongside the company• We are self-help junkies want to be the best so tell us what we do not knowPlease e-mail your resume and cover letter to Karrie@karrieleungpr.com to be considered for the position.
