Work Mode: HybridLocation: Hybrid – Kohler, WIOpportunityThe Market Analyst is responsible for conducting comprehensive and detailed marketing analysis and persuasively making recommendations based on results. This involves developing and compiling layers of in-depth information and statistics, maintaining on-going files necessary for management to develop forecasts, recommendations on marketing strategies, new products, and strategic plans.Other competencies associated with primary function and scope are as follows:• Possess in-depth competitor and market share understanding.• Display initiative to remove obstacles.• Demonstrate high-level presentation/communication skills.• Work across functional areas to see the “big picture.”• Set strong examples through work product, attitude, technical skills, and project management tools/philosophies used.• Function as a leader in all facets of analyst position.• Understand trade channels (Builder, Plumber/Installer, Remodeler, Projects & Specifications, Architect & Designer) and own communication to the customer.Specific Responsibilities• Own & execute trade rebate program processes including enrollment, claims processing, and analysis/reporting of program performance.• Development, enhancement, and deployment trade incentive programing to support strategic trade initiatives.• Drive continuous improvement to trade incentive program processes to create best-in-class customer experiences• Plumber/Builder/Remodeler incentive program & channel performance analysis; collect, organize, and analyze customer data to create historical benchmarks, identify leading indicators, and inform/track strategic initiatives.• Product ordering & tracking for Professional Channel Tradeshows (CEDIA/PCBC/PHCC, and others on case-by case basis)• Collaborate w/Category Strategy on creation of sell sheets & marketing collateral (samples/side-by side selling aids) for Trade-related product launches• Work with Trade Channel Managers to coordinate on all Trade-related deliverables and channel tactics with Category Strategy• Coordinate with Trade Channel Managers on conversions/project wins that will impact demand/production planning & forecasting• Primary point of contact and interface with Visual Merchandising for coordination of indirect customer display needs (Remodeler/Plumber/P&S)• Order input• Tracking confirmation• Delivery coordination• Coordinate product placement with Builder/Remodeler/P&S for showrooms & selection centers via FOC budgets• Collaborate w/Trade Channel Managers and sales on creation of customer specifications to support Sales & Marketing efforts.• Maintain & update Sharepoint/Teams, including customer pricing files (first purchaser pricing, brand-specific market pricing grids, hospitality matrix, etc.) for Builder & P&S channels• Assist in the content creation & presentation development to support Trade communications—both internal and customer-facing• Review & approve trade program co-op advertising claimsSkills/Requirements• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business administration, data science, or other related field.• 3 to 7 years of marketing analytics experience required.• Must possess a keen analytical mind, be strong on planning, detail, and accuracy, and be a demonstrably creative thinker.Must possess substantial skills in written and oralcommunicationwithall levels ofmanagementandwithoutside contacts.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)• Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) requiredTravel• Domestic travel to trade shows, manufacturing plants, and customer visits as needed, approximately 20-35% annually (approx 1x per month).Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.The salary range for this position is $76,050 - $96,050. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
