Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack, Google Fi

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in software development, data structures/algorithms, and experience in building web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience with full stack development and experience with front-end including JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with the design and implementation of distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience building end-user-facing products.
• Experience with API design and development.
• Experience working in e-commerce or similar industry experience.
• Experience building and deploying scalable and reliable systems.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product Managers and UX designers across the globe.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Google Fi's front-end infrastructure.
• Establish best engineering practices and influence them through excellent design decisions, processes, and tools.
• Advocate engineering excellence on the Web platform, focusing on performance, reliability, monitoring, and testing.
• Identify and reduce technical debt, making our systems more scalable and maintainable.
• Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and engineering metrics, especially for web.
