Attention to detail, entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent, and collaborative skills. About the job As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business. Google for Startups works to level the playing field for startup founders and communities to succeed. We do this by bringing the best of Google's products, connections, and best practices to startups at our global network of partners, at our seven Google for Startups Campus spaces, and online at startup.google.com. As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager for our Mentor Engagement team, you will own our Googler Engagement strategy. In this role, you will curate, foster, and maintain a community of advisors, as well as influence the content strategy and value proposition of our startup programs running across the world. You will work cross-functionally with a wide range of teams including Developer Relations, Marketing, Product teams, People Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to develop and build a strategic differentiated offering to help our community and startups grow with Google. You will drive the vision on how we engage with internal and external mentors to drive value to the startups we support. Google's Global Partnerships team powers extraordinary user experiences through partnerships that solve users' needs, advance our partners' goals, and further Google's mission. Our team provides meaningful solutions - from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners. Responsibilities Lead global management of our mentor offering to startups. Work across GFS to source and manage a pool of trusted and vetted mentors, helping them deliver great mentorship to our startups. Build and maintain infrastructure and processes that provide a platform for local teams to manage and access mentors track, measure, and reports for results and key learnings of mentor programs and activities. Work with key partners both outside and inside of Google to collaborate on upleveling of our core programs. Salary Range: $80K -- $100K Minimum Qualification Account ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
