Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant

We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Orthopedic Outpatient Office in Raytown, MO. In this position, you’ll work closely with Licensed Physical Therapists to implement personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient’s journey to recovery.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Or (4) 10-hour shifts: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday (No weekends)

Compensation:

  • $60,000 – $70,000 per year with benefits

Patient Volume:

  • 1-2 patients an hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, guiding patients through exercises and therapeutic activities to enhance mobility and function.
  • Provide hands-on manual therapy and functional rehabilitation exercises.
  • Observe and document patient progress, reporting findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Assess patients’ balance, coordination, and abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • Current Missouri licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
  • Skilled in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Strong communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and recovery strategies.
