Government Affairs and Strategic Partnerships Associate

We're looking for a motivated and driven Government Affairs and Strategic Partnerships Associate in New York who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• Outreach to, meet with, and develop relationships with government agencies, community partners, and other key stakeholders in the western US
• Research policies and regulations, best practices, partnership opportunities, and more
• Drive authorizations processes, working with local and regional governments
• Prepare written and visual communications for a wide range of audiences
• Analyze performance, financial, and travel behavior data, and track KPI's to inform decision making, improve our product, and grow the Flix network and customer base
• Coordinate launches, manage projects through collaboration and clear communication across teams, including Network Planning, Business Development, Operations, and more
• Quick to respond to both opportunities and problems in a well-prepared, strategic manner
• Your work is always customer driven and promotes a strong customer experience

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• Bachelor’s degree plus some relevant work or internship experience preferred; relevant fields include but are not limited to government affairs, regulatory affairs and compliance, transportation policy, transportation planning, and business development
• Familiarity and passion for car-alternative, environmentally conscious transportation!
• Gets excited by the details! Strong attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communicator. Comfortable on the phone and presenting to groups
• Relentless drive towards solutions
• Able to work collaboratively within and across teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work within ambiguity, enjoys start-up culture
• Excellent skills in English, skills in other languages a plus, especially Spanish
• Occasional travel within the western US may be required
• Authorization for employment in the US

The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience, skills, and location: $65,000-$71,000
