This position is under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Manager. This role will focus on and provide administrative support primarily Gowan Milling & support the Retail companies as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities- Supports recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews utilizing Lever software, coordinating with hiring Supervisors/Managers through hiring process
- Prepares New Employee Announcements
- Oversees the FMLA/ADA process by coordinating LOA, assisting associates with paperwork, and ensuring timely follow-up, maintains log
- Coordinates & tracks the accommodation process w/Supervisors & follow-up until released to regular work
- Assists in managing the performance management process, ensuring all hourly associates are accounted for with their performance reviews annually
- Helps maintain the service award process & calendars recognition
- Maintains the Initiatives PowerPoint throughout the year and posts items in the breakroom for associates to see
- Assists in setting up HR initiatives & Employee engagement activities such as National Benefits Day, National 401k Day, National Manufacturing Day, etc..
- Assists associates with the benefit enrollment process & changes in ADP that they may have
- Maintains confidentiality at all times on matters pertaining to employees and the company
- Assists Supervisors/Managers with Disciplinary action and progression, tracks pending disciplinary actions to be issued/received
- Audits employee data periodically to check for updates, ie addresses, phone numbers, shirt sizes, etc..
- Translates forms, memos, postings, and correspondence (Eng/Spa)
- Tracks terminations/reasons and exit interview completions
- ADP/Time & Attendance back up
- Provide support to the HR Manager as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- High School Diploma
- Required: 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources preferably in Manufacturing/Production
- Bilingual required (Eng/Spa)
- Familiar with use of office equipment
- HRIS systems experience
- ADP/Timekeeping experience
