Logistics Coordinator

Gowan Milling is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to work at our Desert Depot location. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Logistics Manager.

• To perform the duties of a Logistics Coordinator which include, but are not limited to the following:
• Coordination of shipping and receiving activities
• Tracking of daily production and material usage
• Coordination with production superintendents
• Coordination with contract representatives or buyers to arrange for appropriate delivery dates
• Customer production invoicing
• Documentation and filling of logistics activities
• Switchboard operations
• Typing and word processing
• Any number of jobs other than what is described in this basic classification 

• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Possess working knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
• Possess math skills necessary for completion of assigned tasks
• Possess working knowledge of general front office procedures
