Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000 AnnuallyAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and passionate Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) / Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, with the majority of work being remote and periodic visits to the office in Oakland. The successful Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) / Senior Project Manager will manage building-related environmental projects, including asbestos, lead, water intrusion, and indoor air quality, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and project teams.Key Responsibilities:• Serve as an account manager for key clients, including those in the private and public sectors.• Review RFPs, prepare proposals, and oversee multiple projects as a Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) / Senior Project Manager.• Delegate responsibilities and supervise project teams, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service as a Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) / Senior Project Manager.• Conduct site visits, field observations, and data collection, ensuring detailed and accurate reporting.• Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment as a Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) / Senior Project Manager.• Respond to indoor air quality complaints and provide recommendations for remediation.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.• 10+ years of experience as a Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC).• Certifications including Cal-OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant, California Department of Public Health (CADPH) Lead Inspector-Assessor, or CDPH Lead Project Monitor.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Knowledge of building systems and construction techniques.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Proficient in computer applications, with basic drafting skills.• Ability to read and understand construction drawings (architectural & MEP).• Willingness to travel as needed, including evenings and weekends.• Good physical health, with the ability to wear personal protective equipment and navigate work environments.Benefits:• Participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).• Comprehensive group medical insurance and HSA contributions.• 401(k) Retirement Savings Program.• Generous Paid Time Off and nine paid holidays per year.• Bonus program.• Employee Assistance Program.• Long-term disability and life insurance.• Professional development funds for certifications, memberships, training, and seminars.If you are an experienced Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) / Senior Project Manager looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a supportive and growth-focused company, we would love to hear from you!How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and qualifications for the role of Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) / Senior Project Manager.
