We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated part-time Graphic Designer to join our team. As a contractor, you will collaborate with our team and clients to deliver compelling and visually stunning digital artwork and graphics that align with our brand and campaign objectives. This role will report directly to our Creative Director.
The ideal candidate must possess a strong proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, along with exceptional retouching and visualization skills. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Visual Conceptualization and Mood-board Creation:
* Utilize your excellent visualizing skills to produce captivating visual concepts that align with campaign objectives.
* Create mood-boards to communicate design ideas and concepts effectively.
Artwork Creation
* Ensure all artwork produced meets client and brand criteria.
Layout and Typographical Expertise:
* Demonstrate a strong command of layout and typographical skills, incorporating appropriate typefaces to enhance designs.
Time Management and Organization:
* Effectively manage your workflow, adhering to tight deadlines and keeping server and archive storage systems up-to-date on a project-by-project basis.
Communication and Collaboration:
* Interact with designers, printers, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and successful project execution.
* Work closely with senior account managers, account executives, and clients to deliver outstanding results.
Quality Assurance and Proofing:
* Thoroughly proof and approve all visual media before publication, including resizing and scaling when necessary.
* Verify the quality of print proofs for external print runs, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
Digital and Print Design:
* Adapt digital artwork files for various print purposes, making necessary adjustments and recommending improvements.
* Develop on-brand commercial design assets for use across social media, print media, and other appropriate channels.
Artwork Library Management:
* Create, update, and manage artwork libraries and archives, providing access to digital assets as required for future projects.
* Collaborate with marketing and creative colleagues to build and expand brand media libraries.
