CBRE is hiring: Experiential Graphic Designer II in Evanston

Our client, a professional services organization, is seeking an Experiential Event Designer with proven experience concepting and designing for high-end corporate events + brand activations to join their team! This is a freelance opportunity offering 40 hours per week for 3-6 months, with the possibility to extend. Responsibilities • Develop creative briefs, layouts and storyboards • Design clear and visually compelling event and experiential deliverables, pitches, and presentations in various platforms and media• Understand the internal client's vision through active listening, advanced communication and diplomacy with business partners• Strategize and lead ideation sessions with creative colleagues and clients• Initiate and successfully engage in creative ideation sessions and design sprints• Collaborate with art directors, cross-disciplinary teams, stakeholders and clients to develop and execute compelling design solutions and engaging ideas rooted in strategy• Consult with internal clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships• Mentor creative project team members in developing conceptual skills and provide constructive feedback to implement the project vision• Act as a project manager for your assigned projects creating timelines and estimates to align with internal clients' budgetRequirements• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related discipline• At least 5 years of related design experience• Creative digital portfolio that showcases previous conference and client events / brand activation experience (inclusive of case studies / explanation of work) and use of current design trends• Experience working in a fast paced, matrixed agency or in-house team environment to develop a range of creative initiatives• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams• Strong knowledge and skills in designing interactive and static presentations• Sound business acumen to adapt while working alongside client-serving professionals• Excel at managing multiple projects, prioritizing milestones, and influencing clients and design colleagues to deliver desirable solutions within time frame and budget• Advanced technical understanding of digital media and print design in-house and with vendors• Willingness to accept administrative responsibilities such as project management and internal client communications along with creative development and design• Willingness to travel to and attend onsite events as requiredIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.BenefitsCreative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
