Chief Financial Officer/Contingent

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. in a contingent role, providing strategic leadership and guidance to ensure the company's financial success and compliance with regulatory standards.

This is a contingent position.

The CFO will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing the overall financial strategy and planning for the organization.
  • Preparing financial forecasts and budgets to support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Overseeing the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements and analysis.
  • Managing cash flow, capital structure, and investment strategies.
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and the board of directors.
  • Leading and developing the finance team, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
  • Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities within the organization.

As a key member of the leadership team, the CFO will have a significant impact on the direction and growth of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive, preferably in a contingent and government contracting environment.
  • Strong understanding of government contracts and regulations, inclusive of the business development cycle in services.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Experience managing financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) & FAR and DFAR Regulations experience.
  • Audit standards and experience is preferred.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions Experience.
