The Role
Gridwise is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Data Analyst to join our Gridwise Analytics sales team to assist with the successful execution of prospecting and closing new customers and ensuring existing customer success. You will also support our go-to-market team by producing compelling data analyses and content that can be leveraged for inbound sales lead generation and establishing a strong industry presence.
You will combine your technical and analytical skills, your ability to clearly communicate compelling insights from data, and your business acumen to help our customers understand mobility trends and enhance their overall business intelligence and operational decision-making. You will work closely with our product and go-to-market teams to deliver data-driven insights that have a real-world impact for existing and future customers, and assist our success team to ensure that existing customers are maximizing value and ROI from our analytics products.
What you're responsible for
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns from our gig mobility datasets to support the prospecting and closing of new Gridwise Analytics customers
Create compelling analyses, reports, data visualizations, and dashboards to communicate meaningful findings both internally and externally
Develop hypotheses on how trends/insights from our data may impact customers and their industries, and communicate potential opportunities from this insight
Conduct analyses to answer specific customer questions and provide actionable insights and recommendations to customers that helps them maximize ROI from our data
Work with our success team and prospective customers throughout the data/product evaluation phase of the sales process to ensure the full potential of our data is realized
Support marketing and sales strategy development by demonstrating to marketing and sales teams how our analytics data can solve industry-specific pain points
Contribute to external-facing content such as customer proposals/presentations, technical documentation, blog articles, social media posts, white papers, and other marketing or sales collateral
What we're looking for
4+ years of experience working as an Analyst capacity in support of a data product
Strong proficiency in SQL and ability to interact directly with databases, warehouses, and other cloud data stores
Proficiency in Python programming for data access, manipulation, analysis, and visualization
Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate results with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present findings and interact with both technical and business stakeholders
Ability to research and identify market trends, understand customer challenges, and present findings to internal and customer stakeholders
Exceptional candidates may have
Experience analyzing or working within the gig economy and mobility industries
Proficiency working with large geospatial and geographical datasets
Prior experience at early-to-mid stage startups or financial service firms
Experience supporting go-to-market and sales for data analytics products
