Then we have an interesting position in Grundfos for you.What is the job about?Grundfos Commercial Building Services is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer. The Sr. Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting relationship building and growing sales in California and the surrounding C5 Region designated by the CBS USA Team. This role is expected to apply a combination of sales skills and specialized technical know-how to generate interest in Grundfos’ products and services, and directly generate sales based on an in-depth understanding of the Grundfos offering to the Commercial Buildings market. The role will provide high level sales assistance to Grundfos Representatives/Partners/Distributors, Regional Managers, Consulting Engineers, Contractors, and End Users in collaboration with the Grundfos Sales Operations team. This role will report directly to the Area Sales Director and will operate remotely in California ( must reside in California) or on a Hybrid schedule out Brookshire, TX office.Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.Your main responsibilities:• Develop a deep understanding of pumps and pumping systems, applications, and solutions relevant to the HVAC and Plumbing market in Commercial Buildings in the U.S.• Act as a technical resource for distributors, partners, consulting engineers, contractors, and end users by providing guidance and support in product selection, application engineering, technical and application troubleshooting, and sales messaging in the market.• Conduct product presentations and technical training sessions on Grundfos products.• Continuously learn and develop better understanding of HVAC, Plumbing and control systems in commercial building applications in order to recommend the best solutions to customers.• Build and maintain long lasting customer relationships as well as strong internal relationships with Regional Managers, Sales Operations and Production teams.• Manage new and existing customer accounts to grow market share.• Work with internal stakeholders to provide distributors, partners, and end users with the best experience in dealing with Grundfos.Your background:We imagine that you have:• A bachelor’s in engineering or technical field (a master’s is advantageous).• 5-7 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering in the HVAC or Plumbing space.• Experience with Pumps, Pump Systems, Motors and Drives in pumping applications is highly desirable.• Ability to travel 20-30%.• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions and concepts.• Strong understanding of sales strategies, channel management and partner relationships with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders.The pay range for this position is $82,915- $119,068. Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location.Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Hayward, CA.
