Assistant Child Care Teacher

Guidepost Montessori is seeking enthusiastic Assistant Child Care Teachers to join their new school in Columbia, Maryland. They are looking for candidates who are passionate about empowering children and fostering a love for learning in a Montessori environment.

Experience working with children ages 0-6
Montessori approach knowledge
Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Support mixed-age classes of infants, toddlers, and preschool children
Prepare an environment that fosters independence and captivates children's interest
Provide individual and small-group lessons
Observe children to understand and meet their needs
Form personal connections with each child

Education

90-hour pre-service training (or willingness to obtain)
