This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits.Job DescriptionThis Judicial Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and performing general office activities in support of Juvenile Court Associate Judges.Essential Duties• Scheduling hearings and coordinating caseload activities• Preparing and distributing court orders, warrants, and other related documents• Disseminating case status information, and determining the feasibility of final hearings• Maintaining, preparing, and reviewing court calendars• Ensuring appropriate documents have been filed, and reviewing requests for continuance• Responding to information requests from attorneys, court staff, and other interested parties• Determining if transportation or language interpretation assistance is required• Coordinating and ensuring attorneys are available for court• Providing administrative support, including data entry, office communications, filing, and inventory• Assisting with special projectsOther Job Requirements/Information• This job is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule after an initial probationary period and individual approval.GradeThe grade for this position is 97.
