Job Description:

Gynesonics is seeking an experienced and driven Market Development Manager to join our dynamic Marketing team. The Market Development Manager will play a critical role in driving regional marketing initiatives, supporting sales efforts, and increasing the adoption and usage of the Sonata® System. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of market development in the healthcare industry.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Development Strategy and Execution:
  • Execute regional marketing strategies to educate customers, patients and referring physicians that drive adoption within targeted markets and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with targeted customers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Utilize established processes and programs to coach Gynesonics field team, customers, and hospital marketing personnel to develop local marketing strategies and plans that align with customer objectives, budget, and capabilities.
  • Follow-up with customers on agreed-upon execution plans and metrics with the goal of creating month-over-month procedure volume growth.
  • Event Management:
  • Develop and implement customer education programs to increase awareness and understanding of the Sonata® System.
  • Plan, attend and execute regional events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and product demonstrations.
  • Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and follow-up activities to ensure successful event execution.
  • Sales Support:
  • Provide marketing support to the sales team, including the development of sales tools, collateral, and presentations.
  • Work closely with sales team to identify and address specific marketing needs and opportunities within their territories.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor, analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback within assigned territories.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on regional marketing activities and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the broader commercial team to ensure alignment of regional and national marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide market insights and feedback for product enhancements and new product development.
  • Foster a team culture between Sales and Marketing of collaboration and execution of shared strategy and tactics.



Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market development, business development, or marketing within the medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing market strategies and driving product adoption.

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, specifically gynecology and women's health preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collect and synthesize local market trends and competitive intelligence into actionable input for the marketing/sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment.
  • Requires selling skills as well as negotiation and consulting skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.


$125,000 - $145,000 a year
