What you'll do...

Supports the OE Team in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of priority initiatives that support the strategic direction of the organization. Aids in deployment and monitoring of people strategies and the management of planned change. Assists with systemically tracking and reporting progress toward institutionalizing change.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide project management and other support to OE Consultants programs and projects, and work with Consultants to aid in diagnosing and analyzing current organizational structures, initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, change management, and organizational people practices to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the OE Consultants in the development and implementation of strategies and interventions (leadership development, performance management process, succession planning, listening strategy, teambuilding, career development, etc.) in conjunction with ongoing human resource policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate feedback and action planning sessions to drive organizational improvements. May lead small scale change management projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to the team...
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational psychology, Human Resources Development, Human Resources Management, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Excel, Copilot, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Forms.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in supporting the development and implementation of HR and organizational development initiatives.
  • Strong research, design, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to facilitate business meetings and problem-solving.
  • Results-oriented with experience in managing projects.
  • Effective Communication skills to include proficiency in presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with all levels of leaders and associates both orally and written.
  • Client focused with the ability to work across multiple disciplines; e.g., finance, IT, field, corporate, tax, etc.
  • Successfully demonstrates the H&R Block Behaviors.

It would be even better if you also had...
  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Development, Human Resources Management or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Workday or other HRIS experience.
