Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of the Southwest Region Water Business Group Director, we'll count on you to:• Develop and lead business group initiatives for the Regions, share effective implementation of business group initiatives.• Develop, implement and maintain an effective regional business group program, including business development strategies, new business prospects, technical services, quality, production methods and standards, all within established goals and objectives of the company and business group.• Work cooperatively with other Regional Business Group Directors, Regional Operations Directors, Area Managers and Market Sector Directors to drive Business Group strategies and initiatives in the Regions.• Mentor Area Business Group Managers, Area Client Development Leaders, and key personnel.• Assist in the identification and prioritization of strategic hires and in the recruiting of candidates.• Actively participate in water industry associations and organizations.• Add strong business skill set as the Business Group point of interface with Operations.• Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values.• Perform other duties as needed.Preferred Qualifications• Proven relationships within major water organizations within the Northwest states of the US.• Applicable registrations and association activities.• Frequent travel is required (50%+).• Committed to quality improvement and HDR values.• Strong operations and client development skills.• Experience with alternative delivery contracting and risk managementRequired Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field• A minimum of 12 years experience in related field• Maintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experience• Demonstrated experience with leading diverse teams• Works cooperatively with other regional business group directors, regional and local office managers, technical and marketing directors• Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values• Add strong business skills because of point with operations• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
