Summary
As the Head of Analytics you will have overall responsibility for managing consumer data, analytics, and business intelligence for all products and services of Cedar Gate Technologies. Reporting to Cedar Gate’s Chief Product Officer, you will support our consumer agenda; drive consistency and efficiency in the pursuit of consumer excellence; and deliver on our promise of better for you.

You will have key responsibilities for creating an overall vision and strategy of our analytics as well as leading the operational execution analytics and business intelligence. This leader will work with technology and business leaders to ensure data sources identified, captured, and consumable in support of key business initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversees the analytics function, including data analytics and data science
• Sets strategic priorities for the function and identifies new business opportunities based on data
• Supports business transformation with data insights
• Collaborates with business and technology leaders to understand needs, generate business value, and communicate results
• Defines and drives analytics and business intelligence initiatives (including assessing the current state of data and analytics capabilities, developing an analytics strategy, working with technology to develop data infrastructure, and creating and executing a data and analytics development roadmap)
• Leads a team of data analysts and data scientists who will evaluate data and define data sourcing requirements to support key consumer initiatives
• Supports Cedar Gate product development and digital development from a research/data perspective
• Identifies appropriate third-party consumer data sources to support business initiatives and actively manages these third-party relationships for the enterprise
• Manages the workflow and backlog for all Cedar Gate consumer-related data sourcing and data/analytics requests across the enterprise
• Determines the best data mining and analytics tools to be used for Cedar Gate’s consumer data
• Manages the budget and leads any associated capital planning as it relates to third-party data or data tools

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience collaborating, managing, motivating, developing, attracting, and retaining an outstanding team of professionals
• Proven history of empowering team members and holding them accountable
• History of rapidly assessing situations and absorbing & applying the latest information to decision-making and direction setting
• Demonstrated confidence and perseverance in addressing challenges and overcoming obstacles, including demonstrating initiative, stamina, and a solid work ethic
• Proven ability to address difficult issues with candor, speaking the truth, expressing a point of view, and taking a stand
• 15 + years of data analytics experiences
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Preferences – Not Required

• Master’s degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred
• Experience in healthcare or the medical field
