The Role & The Team:

Druva is looking for a creative, dynamic, and results-oriented Head of Corporate Marketing to accelerate its momentum and leadership in the cloud data protection market. The candidate brings a proven track record of scaling awareness and creating a differentiated brand image for disruptive and innovative companies, preferably in the data protection, data security, or cyber security industry. The candidate must bring excellent leadership and team-building skills to the table, along with an ability to be scrappy, flexible, and intellectually honest. A proven track record of out-of-the-box thinking is a must have quality. The ideal candidate will have a well-developed executive presence and be a trusted advisor to the CEO, CMO, and rest of the executive team.

The ideal candidate must combine strategic thinking with the operational oversight needed to realize the company’s multi-year strategic direction. The candidate will embody a startup-like “can-do attitude” and always be a creative problem solver when obstacles arise. The candidate will lead the creation of unique and differentiated messaging for the company’s brand, and sharing the corporate story globally. This role will successfully promote the company through a strong PR and communications program including executive communications, industry relations, and crisis management. Reporting to the CMO, the Head of Corporate Marketing must have experience developing, managing, and executing on internal and external communications globally.

This person will have strong leadership skills and the network and confidence to develop and hire a world-class team.


What You Will Do:

  • Build and lead a best-in-class Corporate Marketing team that is data-driven and focused on outcomes aligned to our corporate strategy
  • Develop and execute the communication strategy for media, influencers, users, partners, and investors
  • Lead the development and elevation of the Druva brand and creative expression at every customer touch point, ensuring consistency and integrity.
  • Own the social media strategy and ensure our brand is amplified and represented appropriately across platforms, including working with partners.
  • Manage the public relations program working with PR agencies to ensure coverage in Tier-1 publications.
  • Establish a brand measurement index to measure and optimize awareness, with relevant KPIs, assessing Druva’s brand’s contribution to growth.
  • Create and maintain an annual baseline for Druva’s share-of-voice, and provide visibility into Druva’s ranking in the industry for all relevant KPIs.
  • Select, manage and facilitate collaboration across agencies and contractors as required in support of goals and objectives.
  • Manage a team of brand, creative, and communications professionals, encourage cross functional partnerships, speed and agility.
  • Work with stakeholders to drive the most creative and differentiated expression of the company via the website, blogs, publications, and media.
  • Stay on top of industry best practices, trends and technology, and bring innovative solutions to address challenges.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 10+ years experience in corporate marketing in fast-paced start-ups or mid-size public B2B, ideally SaaS, companies, in the cloud / security industry.
  • Proven to be a talent magnet with honed management and leadership experience
  • Strong relationship building skills actively engage global and local stakeholders.
  • Skilled and proven experience in ideating and bringing new internal and external brand and awareness campaigns and ideas to life.
  • Experience in evolving a company’s brand awareness and perception in a competitive market category, by leading with differentiation and creativity.
  • Mastery in building, getting buy-in, and executing plans, and staying focused on “getting it done” in a fast-moving, technical environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications.
  • Adept at using data and analytics to track and measure results and inform decision-making and strategy direction.
