About Coda

Coda started with an observation: In a world full of applications, why do documents and spreadsheets still run everything? And why haven't they been meaningfully updated in over 50 years? Coda is a new doc that's familiar and flexible like the documents you're used to, but comes with building blocks you can combine to create docs as powerful as apps. It's a big product with an even bigger mission. And we need your help to spread the word! We're backed by some of the Valley's leading venture capitalists, and have assembled a world-class team across offices in San Francisco, Mountain View, and Seattle, and remote employees all over the US. About the Role

We're looking for a Head of Enterprise Sales to lead our fast-growing Enterprise Sales team. As the newest addition to our leadership team, you will manage a team of seasoned Account Executives selling the Coda platform across multiple markets and geographies. As we are still a small but growing team, you'll play a key role in hiring and mentoring your team. You will create a strategy to maximize business growth and impact to customers. You'll be in a very cross-functional role and will collaborate with a wide variety of departments, including Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data Science. You will develop the team to create revenue to meet personal and departmental quotas. This role will report directly to our Head of Sales and Customers.

 

In this role you will:

  • Develop a winning team with a winning culture. Hire and scale individual contributors and develop managers.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers.
  • Coach direct reports on strategies to secure sales deals.
  • Monitor sales activities and forecast to the broader organization.
  • Join a diverse team with the mission of creating the future of work.
  • Create your team and organizational plan, not just follow someone else's plan.
  • Make a significant revenue contribution to the business.
  • Build on foundational skills to develop your career.

  • You are a strong leader, specifically around coaching and mentoring.
  • You enjoy building in a fast paced, team environment.
  • You have a strong drive for results where both the customer and the company win.
  • You have experience in both individual contributor and leadership roles.
  • You have a consultative sales approach and are business minded
  • You have experience working in SaaS at a hyper-growth organization.
  • You have 10+ years of experience. (5+ years as an AE and 5+ as a leader)
