We’ve built a curated platform connecting the best suppliers to the most exciting events, from dinner parties for 20, to nationwide virtual events for 2,000, and right up to the UK’s most famous festivals. We believe that every event deserves incredible food, drink and entertainment and we are building the technology to unlock it for everyone.

We’ve brought together an incredible community of the nation’s finest event suppliers, from independent photographers, mixologists and florists, to the finest chefs and restaurants in the world such as Nobu, Bao, and Honest Burger. And yes, joining us means a lot of free food and tickets to events...

Only four years into our journey, our clients include everyone from Amazon, Nike and London Pride, to Tom Cruise, Star Wars and Taylor Swift. We have seen nothing but rapid growth and were named the 7th most exciting startup in the UK in 2020, were finalists in the 2019 Natwest Entrepreneur Awards, have been featured in pretty much every major publication including; The Guardian, The Times, Techcrunch, The FT and have been named in the top 15 in Tempo’s 50 Best Places to Work. We have also attracted more than £5m in funding over multiple rounds from some of the UK’s finest investors including Tim Score (Chairman of British Land), MAHR Projects, Ascension Ventures, Guy Berryman (member of Coldplay) and Richard Pennycook (Chairman of On The Beach and Boparen, former THG Chair) who has joined us as Chair.

About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Events to lead the growth, development and management of Feast It's public events and their operations.. You will oversee and manage our talented team of Event Producers, ensuring we deliver a best-in-class experience to our clients, whilst maintaining profitability.

We have a great portfolio of public events clients that we work with and are hoping to add to, including, including Broadwick Live, IMG Events, LimeLight Sports Club, Krank Events and We Are FSTVL. We take pride in providing incredible suppliers at all of our events and it will be your responsibility to ensure our high standards are met, and that our clients love working with Feast It.

Feast It is known for its high-quality food and beverage supplier management within the events industry, however, this role will involve expanding our portfolio service and putting Feast It at the centre of end-to-end event management. You’ll have the opportunity to define our product offering to clients, to ensure that planning a festival with Feast It is an ever-improving experience.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for our high-profile event portfolio whilst maximising profits
• Lead a growing team, using your experience to help everyone within your department deliver amazing results and develop personally
• Define processes and practices to help us become a best in class service
• Resource planning and recruitment
• Report the P&L to the Senior Management Team
• Responsible for signing off our contractual agreements with new clients and the delivery of the terms
• Work with Supply and Operations to fulfil each public event contract across the UK
• Manage expectations and work with client timelines to deliver events to the highest standard
• Build and support time-saving processes throughout the event management journey
• Liaise with production teams to ensure seamless ground logistics at events
• Always aim to improve our client and supplier facing experience
• This role involves regularly working on-site, often during weekends and as such, it’s not a typical 9 - 5 pm. We are however very open to offering flexible working hours to reflect this.
• Bring your vast events experience to educate us on potential opportunities, room for dept growth and provide mentorship opportunities internally

Requirements

• Have experience managing a team of event managers within a previous role, and possess exceptional project management and leadership skills as a result
• Understanding of setting annual P&L for multiple events to enable success in meeting and exceeding budgeted net profit
• Experience in fostering and maintaining positive and professional relationships with key suppliers and commercial partners
• You will have a strong understanding of, and interest in, the latest event technologies
• Are emotionally intelligent, empathetic and personable. Your ability to create and nurture relationships will define success in this role.
• Are highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Feast It has a team-wide bias for action, and we expect the same from leaders at every level. Enthusiasm for jumping in to help solve problems quickly is key to helping us create change
• You like moving fast and are always excited about the next challenge. We love jumping into problems feet first and learning as we go. This is reflected in a culture of constant iteration and testing that you'll need to be excited to be a part of.
• Love working on-site at public events - whether it’s a weekend, late night or early morning!

Our offices are in London, however we are currently remote first with hybrid working amongst most teams. When the COVID situation evolves to a point where we are comfortable working from the office, we may ask you to join us there occasionally.
