Job Summary: The Provider Liaison reports to the Director of Business Development and has a secondary report to the CEO. The Provider Liaison is responsible for forming, growing, and maintaining long-term partnerships with Optometrists, MDs, urgent care facilities, medical specialty groups and other clinical groups to increase referrals and gain market share. The Provider Liaison and Director of Business Development work together to implement sales and marketing strategies that ultimately drive volume through measurable relationships. Professional appearance and excellent communication skills are required.
Experience: Preferred 5 years of business development experience Preferred 5 years of experience with proven record of pharmaceutical, provider, or medical sales experience 3 years of experience with healthcare marketing
Education: Bachelor's degree

3 years of business development experiences

Primary Job Duties and Accountabilities:
Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with the provider community and partner facilities
Develops, nurtures, and strengthens long-term relationships with referring Optometrists, MDs, and key influencers while achieving the highest level of customer service and satisfaction
Identifies provider' needs and offers solutions including educational opportunities, practice services, and patient-based services.
Focuses on patients involved in the referral process by tracking outcomes, patient maintenance, and assuring all pertinent information is communicated to all referring OD/MD to maintain smooth referral pathways.
Acts as a liaison between providers and clinicians to resolve problem, provide and obtain information, and maintain positive working relationships
Maintains an awareness of competitive activity within the market and updates information as needed. Oversees efforts to ensure HEA is positioned competitively to protect and grow market share
Works closely with the Director of Business Development to discuss marketing activities, identify new business, potential problems, and new opportunities for pipeline development of referring Optometrists
Assist in establishing targets and implementing plans to meet such targets
Continually works with the Marketing department on the preparation of proposals and presentations to create a brand and services awareness
Assists in the delivery and presentation of specialty marketing materials to address prospective clinical partnership needs
Track initiatives and prepares weekly status reports for leadership review
Executes a monthly plan/budget and submits expense reports in an accurate and timely manner
Maintains confidentiality with staff, supervisors, patients, and family
Responsible for demonstrating knowledge of policies, and interpretation, and relevance to issue as they arise
