The Role: Event Marketing Intern: Are you passionate about event marketing and eager to make a significant impact on a dynamic team? Join Heidrick Digital, a cutting-edge arm of Heidrick & Struggles, as our Event Marketing Intern. This exciting, remote, part-time internship offers the chance to immerse yourself in the world of digital marketing and event management. It's an ideal opportunity for students eager for part-time, hands-on experience while completing their degree. As an Event Marketing Intern, you will support our innovative Digital Marketing Team in planning and executing high-profile events throughout the fall months, including the prestigious HR Technology and Gartner ReImagine annual conferences. This role provides a tremendous opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event marketing, session planning, and logistics, all while working closely with our seasoned Product Marketing Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the marketing team utilizing Asana for streamlined event logistics management, content curation, and scheduling updates on event websites and dedicated apps. • Assist in coordinating speaker and session logistics, ensuring seamless execution by following up on contracts, bios, headshots, presentations, videos, and other essential event collateral. • Conduct research to identify innovative conference concepts, top-tier event vendors, and cutting-edge strategies to elevate attendee engagement. • Drive digital marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Product Marketing Manager to craft and implement impactful email drip campaigns and social media strategies pre-event. • Deliver compelling social media content across diverse platforms throughout the live event to engage attendees and amplify event visibility. • Monitor campaign performance metrics to provide in-depth analytics on the effectiveness of marketing promotions, encompassing email and social media initiatives. • Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate attendee and session surveys, gather feedback testimonials, analyze social media event tag usage, and other pertinent post-event assessments. • Undertake additional job responsibilities as assigned to support the overall success of the event marketing initiatives at Heidrick and Struggles. Additional Responsibilities: • Develop and implement creative strategies to increase event attendance and engagement. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all event-related content is accurate and up-to-date. • Assist in the creation of visually appealing marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital assets. • Support the maintenance and updating of event websites and dedicated event apps to ensure a seamless user experience. • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and managing correspondence. • Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices. Required Qualifications: • Must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Marketing or related academic program. • Excellent demonstrated aptitude in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word • A proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities • A track record of successfully working in teams, adding value to a collegial, collaborative environment. • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills • Proactive and self-motivated; possessing a strong sense of urgency. • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM software, Online data and Google Adwords) • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices Pay Range Guidelines for this Position: The hourly range for this position is 19.00 USD to 20.00 USD. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience and skills.
