One of our clients is looking for a Payroll Manager for the Europe, Middle East & Africa region. This position will define and oversee the roles and responsibilities of the EMEA payroll team, as well as develop, socialize and implement the EMEA payroll strategy. In addition, the Payroll Manager will play a key role in the establishment and management of an international payroll governance framework to provide oversight and direction for the management of country specific payroll vendors, process interfaces and strategic initiatives.

  •  Collaborate with Project leadership and Local/Functional Leads to develop and execute the EMEA Payroll strategy.
  • Lead efforts to select, contract, and manage global or local payroll providers.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and benchmark payroll processes against industry standards.
  • Establish and communicate a clear vision for regional Payroll processes.
  • Develop and translate strategy into operational goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process and policy improvements in coordination with local HR departments.
  • Manage the EMEA Payroll team and ensure delivery expectations/KPIs are met.
  • Handle client service requests, issues, and resolution.
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the organization.
  • Create a high-performance, customer-centric, quality-driven, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Collaborate with the Global Business Services team to develop and operate reporting and analytics.
  • Monitor financial aspects of relevant processes when applicable.
  • Participate in GBS and Global Payroll projects.
  • Make decisions impacting the business results of the area.
  • Guide decisions using policies, resource requirements, budgets, and area business plans.
  • Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential.
  • Direct and control the activities and budget of functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs, and/or operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including federal/country and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead a group or team of employees to achieve organizational goals.
  • Establish and promote a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.
  • Assure that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the Company Quality Policy.
