Highmark Health Senior Functional Product AnalystBismarck, North DakotaThis job supports one or more analytical aspects of the product management lifecycle within a sub-product scope. The role involves collaborating with customers and business stakeholders to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and create business cases.Responsibilities include:• Translating business needs into detailed business requirements.• Performing research and analyzing data to determine business problems and trends.• Working with stakeholders to prioritize business capabilities in the product backlog.• Providing advanced root cause analysis and corrective action plans.• Ensuring on-time, quality delivery of customer needs.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES• Partnering with customers, stakeholders, vendors, and team members to capture capability needs.• Creating and maintaining deliverables such as business requirements, customer personas, and product capability roadmaps.• Participating in the full product management delivery life cycle using Agile/Scrum methodologies.• Leading business analysis, requirements definition, and user acceptance testing.• Communicating effectively with team members, customers, and management.EDUCATIONRequired• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Technology, or related field.Substitutions• 6 years of related experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.Preferred• Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field.EXPERIENCERequired• 5 years in a Business Analysis and/or Analyst role.Preferred• 3 years in Lean/Six Sigma and/or Process Improvement.• 3 years in the Health Insurance Industry.• 3 years in the Healthcare Industry.• 1 year supporting product management.LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONSRequired• None.Preferred• Lean/Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP), Business Analysis Professional (IIBA), Human Centered Design (HCD).SKILLS• Analytical Skills• Problem-Solving• Communication Skills• Report Writing• Product Management• Critical Thinking and Strategic ThinkingTRAVEL REQUIREMENT:0% - 25%PHYSICAL, MENTAL DEMANDS and WORKING CONDITIONSOffice-based.
