Job Description:The Hilton Cleveland is searching for an Event Planner to become a part of their incredible team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing exceptional events targeting all markets with less than 100 guest rooms. By doing so, you will help to create unforgettable experiences that meet and exceed customer expectations:• Organize, plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals.• Effective communication with both internal and external clients is key to building strong relationships and ensuring the smooth running of business operations.• Your ability to establish and maintain meaningful connections with your clients directly determines your capacity to deliver quality service that exceeds their expectations.• Reflecting knowledge of job systems, procedures, products, and methods.• Mediate disagreements and arrive at mutually beneficial solutions through the effective handling of complaints, resolution of disputes, and management of conflicts.• The ability to sell and influence is critical when it comes to dealing with both internal and external customers.• Carefully evaluate situations and determine the most appropriate courses of action.• Offer superior assistance by liaising with team members to grasp the demands of guests, giving directions and recommendations, and coaching individual colleagues as necessary.• Participate in customer site assessments and assist with sales efforts as needed.• Tasks that are necessary as per the demands of the company.• We prioritize the mental and physical health of our staff so they can flourish both personally and professionally within a diverse and inclusive space.
