Dermatologist (Remote)

We are looking for a dermatology-specialized MD or DO to help us help our Honeydew patients. As a Honeydew provider, you will play a critical role in helping people get easier, more affordable access to quality dermatological care. Honeydew leverages high-quality providers to build a service-focused care model with an emphasis on clinical excellence and outcomes.

We’re offering a flexible, remote work opportunity as a contractor in a pay-per-visit payment model.

Responsibilities:

  • Through telemedicine, conduct video consultations and message with patients, including assessing, screening, diagnosing, and prescribing medication for patients as necessary

  • Work in close conjunction with other board-certified dermatologists and other members of the care team

  • Adhere to Honeydew guidelines and complete all required compliance and clinical training

  • Handle patient care by answering patient clinical questions, prescribing medication as appropriate, and providing medical guidance as necessary

  • Have the opportunity to provide clinical care for a variety of dermatology conditions, including acne, rosacea, and eczema

Requirements:

  • Active MD or DO license

  • Board Certified in Dermatology

  • Minimum time commitment of 15 hrs per week (preferred)

  • 1+ years of experience in a dedicated dermatology practice

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion

  • Confidence in treating full-spectrum patients with dermatology needs, including experience prescribing a variety of medications such as tretinoin, oral antibiotics, spironolactone, and isotretinoin (accutane)
