Housekeeping Worker 00539 (Filling more than one position)

The Housing department ensures that student-housing facilities are well maintained, clean and safe for the students of CNU.

This position will ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas by performing various housekeeping tasks.

Required:

Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies

Ability to use housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, buffers, and scrubbing machine

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs., tolerate frequent bending, stooping, and climbing stairs

Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students

Education Required:

Valid driver’s license

Experience Required:

Experience in cleaning methods and cleaning supplies.

Experience using housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, buffers and scrubbing machine

Education Preferred:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Preferred:

Prior hotel, higher education or similar housekeeping experience.
