Departmental Objective

To maximize the value of the University’s information and database systems, applications, and content management systems.

Purpose of the Position

To support the university’s websites using content management systems as well as supports the university-wide usage of Slate, CNU’s comprehensive platform, to communicate with prospective students, their parents, guardians, high school counselors, and alumni. Slate hosts custom forms and online portals and sends emails and text messages to important university audience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position

Required:

Significant knowledge of modern website technologies, including but not limited to HTML, CSS, javascript, and other scripting languages.
Ability to develop CMS elements that consider both form and function for front-end and back-end users.
Ability to create experiences in web properties that are accessible and meet the needs of a wide variety of audiences.
Ability to troubleshoot inter-related web systems.
Ability to contribute to and refine documentation the team uses to ensure consistency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to self-train in new techniques, tools, and issues as the industry progresses.

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience

Significant experience working in web design and development.
Experience in web production, digital communications, media, and technologies, including new and emerging trends.

Additional Consideration(s)

Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a university/college web production environment.
Experience working with Slate CRM
Experience with email marketing, inbound marketing, and the collegiate admission pipeline
Experience working with content management systems.

Starting at $55,432, Commensurate with Education and Experience
