What you'll do:

HPE’s Global CTO for Innovation drives innovation programs in data, edge, and sustainability. As part of these efforts, the team identifies, evaluates, and builds partnerships with early-stage start-up companies working in these areas. We are looking for a technologist who can support these engagements, HPE Advance Technologists will perform hands-on evaluations of potential partner technologies and drive technology landscaping analyses.

We are looking for someone with passion for new and emerging technologies and a willingness to “do what it takes” to achieve results. If you enjoy working with start-up companies, love working across organizational boundaries, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment…this role may be for you.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate start-up technologies

• Perform technology landscape analysis in key areas

• Serve as technical adviser to Head of AI Advance

• Work closely with HPE sales and customers to demonstrate the value of partner technologies and solutions

What you’ll need:

• Masters or Bachelor in an engineering field with 7+ years of experience OR equivalent industry experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated experience using advanced Data, Edge, and Sustainability technologies and tools

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive from ambiguity to structure

What we’d prefer you bring:

• Prior experience performing technology evaluations

• Prior experience working in a client- or customer-facing role

• Prior experience working with technology partners

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $124,500.00 - $286,300.00
